Imperatriz city Flag was idealized
by the painter Etevaldo Moreno de Araújo; has the proportions of Brazilian
Flag and is divided in three
being the top stripe yellow, the bottom stripe green and the center stripe
In the white stripe there is a blue triangle and in it’s center
a yellow crown.
The triangle represents the three community powers.
Agriculture and cattle growth, Industry and Commerce, Culture and Education.
The crown symbolizes the royalty that the city`s name inspires.
